Sleep Essential Oil Aromatherapy Shower Tab
After many moons of suffering from sleep apnea I decided to look into essentials oils linked with sleep studies. Three essential oils stood out ahead of the pack: Lavender, Cedarwood and Bergamot.
Lavender is probably the most well known essential oil when it comes to relaxation. A 2015 8 week study found that 159 postpartum women found lavender aromatherapy improved sleep quality. In 2017 a study published in Nursing in Critical Care found that 60 people with heart disease in intensive care were given lavender essential oil aromatherapy improved sleep quality and reduced anxiety.
Cedarwood essential oil is usual associated with provided a sedative effect. A study involving 178 women showed the sedative effect by measuring their nervous system activity after aromatherapy. Another study reported that dementia patients significantly longer sleep time and less early morning awakening.
Bergamot has been known to help sleep quality. This study showed improved sleep quality.
Our shower tabs have no color and are made with ONLY essential oils for lasting aromatherapy.
Best way to use: Place in the soap dish in the shower (not on the floor). Let the smallest amount of water hit it. If it starts to fizz you're doing it right!
